Terms of Service
Last updated: June 19, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, “Customer”) and INFORSERVICES SERVIÇOS DE INFORMÁTICA LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 21.110.198/0001-36, with address in Itapevi, State of São Paulo, Brazil (“we”, “us”, “our”, “INFORSERVICES”), operating the mcppipe service available at https://mcppipe.dev and related subdomains (the “Service”).
By creating an account, installing the CLI, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.
1. The Service
mcppipe is a hosted service that exposes Model Context Protocol (“MCP”) servers running on your own machines or networks to authorized clients over the public internet, through a managed edge and broker that we operate. You keep your MCP server where it is; the Service routes traffic to it, applies the controls you configure (such as authentication, tool policy, redaction, rate limiting), and provides observability — except where you enable zero-knowledge mode, in which the edge only relays bytes and does not read your traffic.
The Service is provided on an evolving basis and is currently offered without a service-level agreement (see Section 11).
2. Definitions
- “Tunnel” — a routing configuration that maps a subdomain to one or more of your upstream MCP servers.
- “CLI” — the mcppipe command-line client you run to connect an upstream server to the Service.
- “Edge” / “Broker” — the components we operate that terminate public traffic and route it to your CLI.
- “Your Traffic” — all requests, responses, and payloads that pass through the Service to or from your upstream servers and the clients that connect to them.
- “Subprocessor” — a third party we use to provide the Service (listed in our Privacy Policy).
3. Eligibility and Accounts
3.1. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.
3.2. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials, API keys, and tokens confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us at security@mcppipe.dev of any suspected unauthorized use.
3.3. You may use one or more authentication methods we offer, including email/password and third-party single sign-on (Google, GitHub). Your use of third-party sign-in is also subject to that provider’s terms.
4. Acceptable Use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”), available at https://mcppipe.dev/aup, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are solely responsible for Your Traffic and for the upstream servers and clients you connect. Because the Service can route arbitrary traffic, you agree not to use it for any unlawful, infringing, or abusive purpose, and you accept that we may suspend or terminate access as described in Section 12 and the AUP.
5. Plans, Fees, and Billing
5.1. Plans. We offer a free plan and one or more paid plans with different quotas and features, as described on https://mcppipe.dev/pricing. Quotas (such as bandwidth, tool calls, tunnels, and concurrent sessions) are enforced by the Service. Reaching a free-plan limit results in a clear over-quota response, not a surprise charge.
5.2. Merchant of Record. Payments for paid plans are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates, “Paddle”). When you purchase a paid plan, Paddle — not INFORSERVICES — is the seller and merchant of record for that transaction, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax). Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Billing, payment, tax, and refund matters for paid plans are handled by Paddle; questions or disputes about a charge should be directed to Paddle in the first instance.
5.3. Subscriptions and renewal. Paid plans are sold as recurring subscriptions (monthly or annual) that automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You authorize recurring charges through Paddle until you cancel.
5.4. Cancellation. You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record; we do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods except as required by applicable law.
5.5. Account deletion and your subscription. When you delete your account, we cancel any active paid subscription for you as part of the deletion. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (you keep the access you have already paid for), and your account data is removed immediately. If we cannot complete the cancellation at that moment, the deletion is not carried out and we ask you to try again — so you are never left subscribed without an account. You can also cancel at any time before deleting through the billing portal.
5.6. Non-payment. If a renewal payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the free plan and reduce your access accordingly.
5.7. Price changes. We may change plan prices or quotas with reasonable prior notice. Changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.
6. Your Traffic and Content
6.1. Ownership. You retain all rights to Your Traffic and to the data on your upstream servers. We do not claim ownership.
6.2. License to operate. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to receive, transmit, route, and (except in zero-knowledge mode) process Your Traffic and its metadata solely to provide, secure, and maintain the Service and the features you enable. Processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6.3. Responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to route Your Traffic through the Service and to expose your upstream servers, and for complying with all laws applicable to that data.
7. The CLI and Intellectual Property
7.1. The mcppipe CLI is proprietary software owned by INFORSERVICES. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the CLI solely to connect your servers to the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the CLI except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7.2. The Service, including the CLI, its software, edge/broker infrastructure, dashboard, design, and trademarks, is owned by INFORSERVICES or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://mcppipe.dev/privacy, incorporated by reference. By using the Service you acknowledge that personal data will be processed as described there, in accordance with the LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service connects to your upstream MCP servers and to third-party clients (such as LLM applications) that you choose. We are not responsible for those servers, clients, or third-party services, nor for the content they send or receive. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. Beta and Changes to the Service
The Service is under active development. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially degrading core functionality without notice, but the Service may change.
11. Service Availability — No SLA
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON A “BEST-EFFORT” BASIS WITHOUT ANY SERVICE-LEVEL AGREEMENT OR UPTIME GUARANTEE. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You are responsible for maintaining your own fallbacks for any critical workload.
12. Suspension and Termination
12.1. By you. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
12.2. By us. We may suspend or terminate your access, in whole or in part, with or without notice, if: (a) you breach these Terms or the AUP; (b) your use poses a security, legal, or operational risk to us, our users, or third parties; (c) required by law; or (d) for prolonged non-payment. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to cure.
12.3. Effect. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and retention practices. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 6.3, 7, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 18) survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INFORSERVICES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR YOUR TRAFFIC, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
14.2. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO PADDLE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD 50.00.
14.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights.
15. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless INFORSERVICES and its officers and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) Your Traffic or content, (b) your upstream servers or the use you make of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms or the AUP, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Governing Law and Venue
16.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
16.2. The courts of the District (Comarca) of Itapevi, State of São Paulo, Brazil, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection law grants a consumer the right to bring proceedings in their place of residence. Nothing in this Section deprives a consumer of protections that cannot be waived under the law of their country of residence.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-product). Your continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
18. Miscellaneous
18.1. Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the AUP and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
18.2. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
18.3. No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
18.4. Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
18.5. Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
18.6. Notices and contact. Notices to us may be sent to support@mcppipe.dev. We may give notice to you via the email associated with your account or in-product.
