Refund Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid mcppipe plans. It supplements Sections 5.2–5.6 of our Terms of Service and forms part of them; where this policy and the Terms differ on a billing question, this policy controls.

The Service is operated by INFORSERVICES SERVIÇOS DE INFORMÁTICA LTDA (CNPJ 21.110.198/0001-36), Itapevi, State of São Paulo, Brazil.

1. Who processes your payment

Payments for paid plans are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its affiliates). When you buy a paid plan, Paddle — not INFORSERVICES — is the seller of record for that transaction and issues your invoice. Refunds are therefore paid out by Paddle, back to the original payment method.

You can raise a refund request with either of us:

  • email support@mcppipe.dev — we will review it and instruct Paddle to process an approved refund; or
  • contact Paddle directly using the link on your invoice or receipt.

2. The free plan

The free plan costs nothing and never asks for a card, so there is nothing to refund. Reaching a free-plan limit returns a clear over-quota response — it never converts into a charge.

3. Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancellation:

  • stops all future renewals immediately;
  • keeps your paid access until the end of the billing period you already paid for; and
  • then moves the account to the free plan.

Cancelling on its own does not generate a refund of the current period — you keep the access you paid for until it expires.

4. Refund window for a first purchase

If a paid plan is not what you expected, email support@mcppipe.dev within 14 days of your first paid charge for a given plan and we will refund that charge in full. You do not need to justify the request.

This 14-day window applies to the first charge on a subscription. It is a goodwill policy on top of — not instead of — any statutory right you have under Section 6.

5. Renewal charges

Renewal charges (the second and subsequent charges on a subscription) are not refundable, and we do not pro-rate refunds for a partial period, except:

  • where a refund is required by applicable law (see Section 6);
  • where the charge was a duplicate or a billing error on our side — we refund those in full, whenever they are found; or
  • where a prolonged and material outage made the Service substantially unusable for a significant part of the period, in which case we may issue a partial refund or a service credit at our discretion.

Because renewals are not refundable, we send a reminder before annual renewals and you can cancel at any time beforehand.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

  • EU and UK consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. Where you asked us to start the Service immediately and it has been fully performed, that right may be reduced or lost under applicable law — but our own Section 4 window gives you an equivalent 14 days regardless.
  • Brazilian consumers have the 7-day right of regret under Article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (Law 8.078/1990) for purchases made outside a physical establishment.
  • Consumers elsewhere keep whatever equivalent local rights apply.

To exercise a statutory right, email support@mcppipe.dev and say so; we do not require you to go through Paddle first.

7. Upgrades, downgrades, and plan changes

  • Upgrading mid-period charges you the new plan and takes effect immediately.
  • Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not refund the difference for the period already paid.

8. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact support@mcppipe.dev first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. We may suspend an account with an unresolved chargeback until the dispute is settled.

9. Accounts we terminate

If we terminate your account for a breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, fees already paid are not refunded. If we discontinue the Service or terminate your account without cause, we refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

10. How long a refund takes

Once approved, Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. The funds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
